No problem - they are genuine cusco coilover racing/track suspension - they are hard on the road but most coilovers are to be honest.

Could be a week or 2. He rang me 2 tell me he put trd thermostat and toms rad cap on it so that should keep it a bit cooler. U could put diff on front but not sure if u can get coilovers in pairs and not sure how handling would be affected.

Hey Dave - I wud have to see the springs to tell you wat brand mate - it would be very hard to find coilovers as a pair - usually only ever see the full set and if they are cusco they would be difficult to come cause shipping would be hugh given the weight. You might get onto John in Galway I took Cusco Coilovers out of my GTS a year or so back and he has them still (I think)- they hard but for serious driving (track) they top of the range - approx 1200 sterling to buy new. Looks in great nick from the pics mate. I have had 4 cars rolling roaded in Waterfors and all went fine mate - its easy and they will tell you in advance if they dont think your engine/turbo are up to it (but in almost all cases they are) but they have seen cases where turbo gaskets are gone etc. and they will not risk it even if you only hit 6000rpm or so. Its a good day out and good viewing so your welcome to come along. One recommendation I wud give id to put a Rev.3 rear (lights& panel) on her - looks very well

Also if your interested and ask Paul also - trying to oragiise a rolling road day in Xtreme in Waterford in maybe 4-5 weeks from now and we can get a reduced group rate. I mentioned it to John and also another mate with a GTS MR2 and they on for it - its a good day out and its nice to have proof of what your car is putting out and they give good advice on specific mods depending on what they see on the rollers. Up to you mate but I said id mention it - the more the better - and see if Paul interested in being the non-toyota head representative too! sound.

Well mate - just a little bit of background on the turbo if your thinking of extracting more mower mate - this is from Toyots website - "Although the 90-94 model engines all share the same power output, the 92-94 models had a number of modifications to the internals of the engine including larger exhaust valves and ports, and an improved stud pattern for the exhaust manifold to prevent warping which was a problem with the 90-92 cars. All 90-94 cars were turbocharged using a Ceramic CT-26 turbo at a factory boost pressure of 10psi. The engine in the 94+ models was extensively revised with larger fuel injectors, lower cylinder compression ratios, a new CT-20 turbo now running at 13psi and a new ECU. As a result Toyota were able to extract a 20 further bhp from the 94+ engine." Thus if you switch to a CT20 turbo you can run higher boost pressure - and even better if you go for the CT20B turbo its steel and not ceramic from the ST205 WRC model and can sustain the highest boost bud.

Fair enough bud - no problem just got the impression it was a competitive thing after commenting yours was faster! Im sure it is as fast and who knows maybe faster than mine but would not expect someone to say it to you directly without hard facts! Yeah I can understand the excitement they are a fantastic car and the whole set up makes it ideal for fast straight-line acceleration. As far a boost controllers I had an Apexi Boost Controller fitted in an MR2 trurbo at Xtreme and it was spot on - they set the car up on the rolling road also and I wud advise that especially since you have an aftermarket ECU which means more fuel for running high boost safely. Its a nice boost controller also and goes with a dark interior - The TOMS scoops are a nice touch = have them planned for my one at some stage but budget taken on other stuff at minute try ebay.co.uk and they actually come up time to time second hand for little money - stick some pics up soon mate. later Liam
